HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sep. 10, 2013--
Forum Energy Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:FET) is pleased to announce the
opening of a 10,000 square feet addition to its state-of-the-art
facility in Elmore City, Oklahoma. This Production Equipment facility
expansion will increase the plant to 70,000 square feet of manufacturing
space located on over 50 acres. The expansion of the manufacturing
capabilities will mean more efficient production times on larger size
pressure vessels. Gauthier Pierozak, Plant Manager, said, “We have
increased our manufacturing capability in Elmore City significantly over
the last several years as we have responded to growth in customer
demand. This latest expansion will allow us to produce larger size
equipment for the unconventional shale markets under development
throughout the United States.”
The Grand Opening will be held on September 11, 2013, with expected
guests including Lieutenant Governor Todd Lamb, Senator Susan Paddack,
Oklahoma Representative Lisa Billy and other local dignitaries. Since
first expanding in 2011, this facility has had a significant impact on
the local economy. Wendell Brooks, President of the Production and
Infrastructure Division said, “We are very pleased to continue our
investment in Oklahoma. In addition to Elmore City, we have
manufacturing plants in Davis, Sulfur, Chickasha and Guthrie Oklahoma.
We have consistently found Oklahoma state and local leaders to be very
supportive of our efforts to grow and expand.”
